Rock Clip of the Week - Titus Andronicus, A More Perfect Union

I'm a little late to this track, but it's a good one. "A More Perfect Union" opens up the 2nd CD of Titus Andronicus CD Monitor.

As singer-guitarist Patrick Stickles says in the live clip, it's their attempt to sound a little like Dinosaur Jr - he asks the crowd to be the judge (I say yes).

The official video for the recorded song is below the live clip. Check the line "...Why I never wanted to change the world, but I'm looking for a new New Jersey, because tramps like us, baby we were born to DIE!" starting at :45. Killer.

Flavorwire writes: "Titus Andronicus have made some of the most powerful music of the year on their latest album, The Monitor, an emotional wallop of a punk-rock Civil War concept record that also manages to peg the frustrations of 20-something life and shout out New Jersey without ever feeling forced." Amen.
