Your new/old classic rock Wednesday: Flaming Lips, Aerosmith, Green Day, Rush
- Green Day has made it into Rock Band. The new edition comes out next week. Billie Joe Armstrong says: "It's like a glorified karaoke machine, or 'Mortal Kombat' with guitars."
- Flaming Lips and MySpace have teamed up to help send you to Bonnaroo! Click here and follow directions to send a video saying why you should be able to hang with the band on June 11th at Bonnaroo.
- Thank goodness Aerosmith has dropped it feuding ways and have gotten back together for a summer tour that starts in mid-July through September.
- Aldous Snow (played by Russell Brand) does his rock n roll thing this weekend in "Get Him to the Greek" a new Judd Apotaw-produced film that includes joints and women, Puff Diddy and the band Infant Sorrow.
- Rock Royalty Rush has a new documentary coming out soon called Rush "Beyond the Lighted Stage" and Geddy Lee and Alex Lifeson spoke to CBC about their early years. Here's Pt. 1 below (worth watching solely for a short clip of KISS's Gene Simmons saying "What makes Rush unique is fearlessness. What kind of band is Rush? It's r-u-s-h"). Part 2 is here.
