Paul McCartney - Ringo Starr, NYC Benefit show clips
Dave Lawrence Online has got eight clips from the recent David Lynch benefit show in NYC featuring, among others, Paul McCartney with his old pal Richie Starkey handling the drums and singing on a few songs... Here's a review of the proceedings from Spinner.com.
I'm diggin' the version of Jet, here, below - but no Ringo on it.

The concert was fantastic (and was recorded for PBS) as this cast of legendary musicians flowed through set after set of inspiring rock and roll with many artists making guest appearances on songs for others. During the many stage set ups David Lynch, Laura Dern, Howard Stern and Jerry Seinfeld added comments and comedy on the positive influence Transcendental Meditation has had in their lives. Background film clips of youngsters in schools around the world who practice TM gave us hope for a new era of peace and happiness. A charming and delightful evening that transcended all my expectations! http://www.tm.org
This article about the new David Lynch TV site is great. David is so creative and is involving some other fantastic artists in this new venture. Such creative, energetic, positive people. It is amazing that David Lynch has been doing TM for 37 years - every day, twice a day. And he is doing such a great job in making TM available to children under tremendous stress in these inner city schools.
I have been doing TM for years and have nothing but good effect from the twice-daily practice. It reduces stress, keeps me healthy and happy. And it is completely effortless to do, and so simple to learn. And what I also like about TM is that there are over 600 studies showing how good it is for my mind and body. Have a look at the web site www.TM.org for all scoop on the Transcendental Meditation program.
The Walrus was Mahesh Yogi.
I love the Beatles. It's a family tradition for us to sing their stuff on the holidays. I love this exciting (and funny) recent Ringo Starr Video too! http://bit.ly/WIuNW
