International Pop Overthrow hits Phoenix in March

The global International Pop Overthrow (IPO as its known to insiders) is coming to my new hometown of Phoenix for the first time since its inception.

The dates are March 6th-8th, 2009 and all shows will be held at the Hollywood Alley in Mesa, AZ. Bands and interested performaners can put their bids in through this SonicBids page - deadline is coming up in 10 days.

I've been invited to play (as a three-time alumnus of its NYC series in past years), and am looking forward to bringing my own garagey pop, and hearing more local powerpop-garagerock-indie pop in this neck of the woods.
