Donovan and Macca
Thanks to awaggenspack for posting up this charming audiotape (Pt. 1) of Paul McCartney and Donovan Leitch strumming some songs on their acoustics while an engineer adjusts the mix and sets up gear. According to awaggenspack, this was supposedly recorded as the studio was being readied for a Mary Hopkin session (around the time of the Beatles' Get Back / Let It Be sessions). Nice guitars, friendly banter and an insight into McCartney's development of his song 'Blackbird' from the White Album. Click here for Pt 2.
