Steve Wynn is a solo rocker who's been touring and recording like since I was born or something - it's his life and he does it well. I enjoy his tour diaries a lot - he and his band are touring mainland Europe now (where I was planted from 1991-1996), so it's fun to see his pix and read about the locals.
