Rock Explosion posters exhibition - London
London's Movie Poster Art Gallery proudly presents the second "Must-See" Music Poster Art Exhibition - Rock Explosion II, on Sat. July 5 to Sat July 26.
"Two years ago, during the summer of 2006, the Movie Poster Art Gallery played host to the groundbreaking and critically acclaimed exhibition ‘Rock Explosion’, a graphic treasure trove of rare original rock posters covering four decades of music, many of which had never been exhibited and made available to buy to the general public before."

It's quite encouraging to see how music posters have enjoyed a terrific resurgence over the past several years. It is certainly an artistic expression which deserves recognition, one for which I have a particular affinity as a Duran Duran poster archivist in the United States.
One day I hope to produce my next exhibition, bringing it to the world stage in a similar vein as Rock Explosion. It is my hope to offer fans of Duran Duran, poster art, music history or simply fans of the 80's decade a revealing look at a band's evolution.
