The big R.E.M./Modest Mouse/The National tour hits Chicago's United Center tonight, and looks like the R.E.M. setlists have been featuring early material from "Murmur" and other early LPs, including this fab ditty "Country Feedback" from Green. "We're gonna do a song. Peter, Peter...that inspired [Peter] after the 5th song in the set we decided to add a song here and uhm...in fact we haven't rehearsed it or played it I think in probably 4 years....3years it's been? so this is completely unrehearsed but it's kind of been our DNA except that I always fuck up my entrance. So that happens and I want everybody to kind of ignore it and pretend like I didn't just say that. All right, here we go."
