Wolfgang's Vault invests in Daytrotter

Wolfgang's Vault (of which I'm a semi-regular listerner of their classic concerts online) has taken a majority stake in Davenport, IA-based Daytrotter, run by Sean Moeller.



Sean writes about it today on his site and,to celebrate, offers up a free live Wolfgang's Vault download from The Ramones. Good for him! FYI, you can download the whole Ramones 1978 concert at Wolfgang's Vault.

"What we’d like you to enjoy today is a free download from the Vault, taken from The Ramones’ January 7, 1978 concert at New York’s Palladium. The song, “Oh Oh I Love Her So” is a symbolic song in the legendary band’s arsenal as it is all things for them – the unrequited love, the temper, temper speediness of it, the roar, the flames, the alacrity, the whoosh of its coming and going and the signature melodies that the entire genre of punk rock benefited from in these integral years."
