Sweden Rocks!

The Swedish Consulate wants the world to know that Sweden is the third largest exporter of music worldwide, behind the US and the UK. And at next week's CMJ conference, the Swede are hosting a panel to promote The Hives new CD...AND tell the world about Swedish Rock, apparently...

"A professional music seminar focusing on the current state of the music industry in Sweden and the United States and what the future holds for both countries will be presented by Export Music Sweden and the Consulate General of Sweden in collaboration with Sirius Satellite Radio, the NYU Stern School of Business and CMJ at Union Square Ballroom in New York on October 18."
