Rock Clips of the Week - "All My Friends"

Two Times Higher with the Rock Clip of the Week this week - we're celebrating two great tracks titled "All My Friends", one by Brooklyn band The XYZ Affair and the other from James Murphy's LCD Soundsystem.

The XYZ Affair plays live tonight at Union Pool in Brooklyn. Here's their debut video below from this past summer, called "All My Friends". It's five minutes long, but worth watching it all for all the yummy pop goodness and big chord hooks. See them tonight if you get a chance.

All My Rockness wrote succinctly "This boisterous Brooklyn band creates entirely catchy feel-good music that's perhaps played with a wink. They probably know their rousing verse-chorus-verses are a little over-the-top with all those falsettos and guitar solos, but they don't call it arena rock because it's meant to sound small."

More pix at the band's Flickr page.

And here's the LCD Soundsystem song "All My Friends", kicking along in all of its light gel glory. Great song. Murphy & Co are touring with Arcade Fire and return to NYC later in a week.
