Hot Freaks - Bloggerfest in Austin

Thanks to Robert Pollard for giving lots of my favorite blogs the titular direction for Hot Freaks, a blogger-collated show in Austin, TX this weekend featuring Art Brut, the Rosebuds and others.

Whooping it up in Austin, TX this weekend for HotFreaks will be these fellow bloggers whose sites you can click through to in the column on the right... an aquarium drunkard, la blogothèque, brooklynvegan, chromewaves, gorilla vs bear, my old kentucky blog, you ain't no picasso and dell lounge.

And in a nice coincidence(?), GBVDB is offering up a nice GBV 2001 live set from Austin.

And speaking of coincidences, I'm guessing it is NOT a coincidence that Pollard is releasing his two new CDs on October 9th, John Lennon's birthday. Am I right? Comments below.
