Control - Joy Division movie
A number of promotional events are happening around the Joy Division/Ian Curtis bio-pic 'Control' the week of October 8-12 for the film's US premiere that week in New York. 
-- October 9th, there will be a late-night film screening at Angels & Kings in NYC. (Aside: October 9th is shaping up to be an incredibly busy/exciting day - 1) This screening; 2) John Lennon's birthday; 3) Robert Pollard's new dual CDs release date; 4)Hives concert@Webster Hall; 5) ????)

-- October 12th, Crashin' In will host another Control film release party.
-- October 30th, 'Control' soundtrack will be released in stores.
-- November 11th, former JD/NO bassist and all-around curmudgeon Peter Hook will spin a DJ set at Hiro Ballroom.

I'm a Joy Division fan as well. I'm glad to see you're spreading the news about the Control movie. However, I have to ask that you not hotlink to photos or other files from my blog. People accessing your site are also accessing mine via the orange Joy Division photo at the top of this post and using up my limited bandwidth. Thanks for the change. I added your site to the links list on my blog. Control plays here in Milwaukee tomorrow night (9/26) as part of the Milwaukee International Film Festival. As you can imagine, I'm pretty excited! Cheerz.
