Bryan Ferry's 'Dylanesque'
I've never, ever, ever called myself a fan of Bob Dylan's music, but millions of others around the world have been inspired, infuriated and instructed by Dylan's songs. Singer extraordinaire Bryan Ferry has been one of them.
He puts his love of Dylan songs into great effect on his new release 'Dylanesque', covering all the classic Dylan tracks - Positively 4th Street, All I Really Want to Do, If Not for You and many more. First stream through the tracks sounds good. Ferry gives the goods.
Chicago Tribune's Greg Kot weighs in on Ferry's career of covers.
You can see Bryan Ferry Wednesday in NYC at J&R at 12:30 - no performing, but he'll sign copies of his new CD, which is streaming at Spinner AOL. (via Scenestars)
