Andrew Bird - Reverb

Andrew Bird, who plays a sold out show at Webster Hall tonight, has gone green with this tour.



According to Reverb Rock, a non-profit organization that "seeks to raise awareness and support for the environment through building upon the powerful connection between musicians and their fans", Bird's tour will have several greening elements including:

+ Carbon Neutral Concerts--each show's CO2 emissions will be neutralized with renewable energy offsets through Native Energy

+ BioDiesel Powered Tour Bus--Andrew's bus will be running on a B20 blend that will significantly reduce emissions

+ Eco-Friendly Contract Rider--requests for green items such as biodegradable cups and local, organic food

+ Green Merchandise --including ways for fans to neutralize their drives to and from the shows

+ Free organic non-petroleum lip balms provided by Stonyfield Farm Shift
