Fratellis at Coachella

Rockin' fun set right NOW from the Fratellis at Coachella.

The Glaswegian lads of Fratelli play a pub-checked, upfront and boogie fun and roll that works for the party kids in the crowd, mixed with the folky bastards-of-young numbers that spill from Jon Fratelli's voice. A fun set, just nothing different that Slade did back in the '70s (and maybe better?). But I like Jon Fratelli's Westerbergian moves...

Kudos to the fried kids at Coachella for keeping with 'em even in the heat. Looking forward to the Arcade Fire set in a few hours...missing cool parties tonight to hang out and rock.
